I met Shakena in our later years of high school. Like anyone who has spoken to her for a few minutes, I realized she was one of the funniest, sweetest people I'd ever met. We bonded over a mutual love of Jenna Marbles and just Youtube in general, "extroverted introverts" who wanted to spend their free time with their heads buried in whatever they were doing. What she was doing granted, was far more impressive. At 17 she started selling home-made lipglosses. This wasn't even the first time she'd corner the market and start selling things to her classmates. This girl has been hustling since MIDLE SCHOOL. . It broke my heart when I lost a lipgloss I bought from her, but I know I'll have many oppurtunutes to support her endeavors. This is just the beginning of Shakena's journey
